What if the sand isn’t falling or is falling too quickly?
To create finer bubbles, gently shake the Sandscape. Smaller bubbles result in more dramatic landscapes.
If unused for several weeks, you may need to shake loose the sand by tapping on the glass to get it moving again.
Do I ever need to add water? What kind of water should I use?
Yes, possibly once a year. Over time, water will evaporate. We recommend using spring water to replenish it.
Do NOT remove the water from your Sand Picture. You only need to add a few milliliters—do not overfill, as excessive pressure may crack the glass.
Will it leak?
With proper injector usage and normal handling, water should not leak. However, a small amount may evaporate through the sealant over time.
Do you get the same sand formation each time you turn it over?
No, each creation will be unique and mesmerizing every time you flip it.
